Micheal Haimour

Micheal Haimour is a former Global Business Executive in world-class organizations including General Electric and Boston Scientific. He is a member of the Board of Directors, Investment Committee, and Healthcare Vertical of New World Angles, an accredited investor group of private investors and entrepreneurs providing equity capital and mentorship to early-stage companies.
Micheal led Boston Scientific’s US Consulting organization in driving new business growth and providing a full array of consulting services to reduce costs and enhance patient care at healthcare institutions nationwide. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Micheal had 22 years of diverse experience with several GE Industrial and Financial Services businesses including GE Healthcare, GE Aviation, GE Capital, and GE Appliances. As a General Manager for Global Research at GE Healthcare, Micheal built and oversaw a diverse global team of senior clinical and technical professionals in managing cross-business clinical research and innovations partnerships and programs with healthcare institutions in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, China, and Latin America. These research programs enabled GE Healthcare to deliver competitive products and services, accelerate product innovation, identify & address unmet clinical needs, and improve patient care.
Previously, Micheal led an organization focused on developing, cultivating, and managing multi-million dollar strategic partnerships with C-level executives at healthcare organizations across the US. He provided extensive consulting in business development, strategic planning, change acceleration, and leadership development. He also led a cross-functional team in developing commercial strategy, market positioning, sales planning, and customer segmentation. Prior to joining GE Healthcare, he held leadership positions in Risk, Finance, and Audit Management with various GE businesses.
Micheal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in finance and marketing from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, and an MBA Degree from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. He completed several GE Executive Development Programs and the GE Advanced Financial Management. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. Micheal represented GE Healthcare at the International Society for Strategic Studies in Radiology (IS3R), the Association of the University of Radiologists, and the GE Radiology Research Academic Fellowship. He was a Board Member of the Coalition for Imaging and Bioengineering Research and participated in several global healthcare conferences and workshops in Europe, India, and North America. He is currently a Board Director of Prana Thoracic, a medical device startup dedicated to developing solutions for the detection and intervention of early-stage lung cancer.
